The Concept
The idea for this project came after watching the recently released "Mad Max: Furiosa" (no spoilers ahead).
Inspired by the Green Place—a utopian haven amidst a dystopian wasteland — I found myself drawn to Solarpunk,
a genre that envisions a sustainable future where humans live in harmony with nature using renewable resources and clean energy.
While cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic worlds dominate much of contemporary art — genres that I love — I believe there's rich potential in exploring utopian universes like Solarpunk.
Architecturally speaking, I've always been fascinated by isolated constructions in remote places, and the best representation of this for me in fictional worlds is an Outpost. These structures, often humble yet resilient, evoke a sense of sanctuary — offering peace, simplicity, and a retreat from the chaos of the world. They stand as silent sentinels, providing shelter, resources, and a vantage point for observation, embodying both functionality and tranquility.
For the design, I aimed to create a simple, small, and clean building that integrates with nature and utilizes mostly reused materials. The building would be guarded by a hermit who collects resources from the region and offers help and supplies to adventurers who cross the area.

Exterior
Thought Process:
For the scene composition, the choice of elements was based on conveying the concept of an isolated location within an utopic Solarpunk world. The foliage bleeding into the foreground embraces the environment, aiming to highlight a sense of comfort and safety.
The proximity of the mountain peak indicates a vantage point—the famous high ground—covered by abundant vegetation, including flowers, small trees, weeds, and bushes.
The composition accentuates the focus on the outpost, using the mountain's diagonal lines to create movement and guide the viewer's eye
towards it.
The weather is sunny but partially covered with clouds, to suggest the idea of being close to heaven.
Interior
Thought Process:
For the interior composition of the outpost, the idea was to create a space that serves as a dwelling for one person, the one who takes care of maintenance and gathers resources from the area to eventually trade with other adventurers.
The crates stacked in the foreground contain stocked supplies. The main source of natural light is a narrow and long window on the left side, which allows the morning sun to invade and light up the space.
In the back area is the control panel of the wind turbine, as well as the hatch that leads to the outside.
